Hanoi Garden is a good place for a number of Vietnamese standards in a simple but bright and pleasant environment. In good weather, enjoy the outdoor seating in the front courtyard.  This is an agreeable  place to come for a light lunch.

Recommended dishes:  The highlights of the menu here are their salads and fresh spring rolls.  The banana flower and chicken salad (Nộm/Goi Hoa Chuối), lotus stem and shrimp salad (Goi Ngo Sen), and smoky charred eggplant salad with spring onion vinaigrette are all excellent.  And their execution of southern style fresh spring rolls, or goi cuon, is the best in Hanoi.
